During my BAF, during a design subject, were tasked to create an item using ceramics, woodwork and metal work. Inspired by the Trevi Fountain aimed to create a ring holder reflecting the ripples of throwing a coin in and making a wish of love.

With this work I wanted to honour the 750 Australians that are missing to this day. Using such delicate material I made sure to be careful with how I approached the photos as they represent real people and families. In the end, I believe I came along way with the material but would still like to push it further and find a better way to connect the material to my vision. Currently in this stage, I have been focusing on showing the missing person portraits from 1945-2021. As it also shows how photography has changed over the years.

Nym, Fat Monster, 2023, Sculpture: Bedsheets, expanding foam & stuffing, 6”5.
When speaking to other women that felt “Fat”, I discovered a universal feeling, that when in public spaces a lot of us would use pillows to try and hide our “Fatness” - as if the pillow helped us take up less space. Fat Monster aimed to capture the emotion of feeling that we our Fat Monsters taking up to much space in society, that all we our is just disgusting. Using expanding foam, created custom fat roll like pillows. Stacking them at a height of 6’5 and make them as wide as possible. Stuffing them with fluff and using old yellowed old discarded bedsheets.

Eat me - is a collection of ceramic dumplings shaped like vaginas, with “Classic” Chinese style take out boxes set up like a meal is about to take place. This photography aims to speak on the “Asian fetish” I witnessed when in the video game industry.

Using a old fountain ink and extremely loose grip, sketched out a bedroom, embellished with items used in childhood and adulthood. Leaving behind straight lines, focusing on raw emotions capturing the feeling of the aftermath of childhood sexual assault. The body remains with out a head as one the biggest emotions I battled with was feeling decapitated from body.
